Information: Tai's the leader of the Chosen Kids, but that doesn't always mean he can be counted on to do the right thing. Tai's a born leader and super-aggressive -- usually the first to spring into action -- but he doesn't always think before he acts. The results often spell danger for all the kids. His little sister, Kari, is also one of the Chosen Children. Back in the real world, he's an 11-year-old fifth-grader at Odaiba Elementary School. Naturally, his crest is Courage.
Information: Sora's down-to-earth maturity contrasts with Tai's rambunctious love of adventure. She's a tomboy whose first duty to the DigiWorld is keeping the other kids safe. She's not always sure Tai can handle the situation... but who is? Back in the real world, she's an 11-year-old fifth-grader at Odaiba Elementary and plays on the soccer team with Tai and Izzy.
Information: Mimi has a lot to learn about the ways of the DigiWorld. A sheltered and slightly spoiled child in the real world, "Daddy's little princess" sometimes has trouble adapting to her new surroundings. She shows her incompatibility with her new surroundings by whining and refusing to help out. She's not selfish; she's actually quite sweet. She just has trouble understanding what is going on around her. Back home she's a 10-year-old fourth-grader. Her crest is Sincerity.
Information: Remember the story of Chicken Little, who always ran around proclaiming that the sky is falling? That's Joe. He's a pessimist and a hypochondriac and so much more; he's convinced that if anything can go wrong it will. In fact, he worries so much that he almost throws himself into a panic time after time. And here's the scarry part: Many times he's right.Joe's worrying comes from a good place, too. Since he's the oldest -- he's a 12-year-old sixth-grader -- he feels responsible and wants to protect the others. Joe's crest is Reliability.
Information: Rebellious, quiet and aloof, Matt wants to do things his way and isn't keen on other people's suggestions. That's led to plenty of clashes with Tai, and while he's lost his share of battles, he can always be counted on for a joke when times are tough. He's cool, all right, but he really loves his little brother, T.K. In the real world, he's an 11-year-old fifth-grader at Odaiba Elementary. He carries the Friendship crest.
Information: The ultimate computer whiz, Izzy spends all his time trying to figure things out on his Pineapple laptop. He has a theory about everything -- including why he's adopted (or so he thinks). You'd think with his brain and his love of computers, the DigiWorld would be the perfect place for him, but Izzy gets so wrapped up in his own thoughts and projects that he doesn't see the danger around him. He's a 10-year-old fourth-grader at Odaiba, and naturally, he carries the Knowledge crest.
Information: Kari is Tai's little sister. She is the eighth Chosen Child and carries with her the crest of Light. She is exceptionally mature for her young age, and always thinks of others before herself. She can't stand seeing others hurt and seems to be the most in-tune with the DigiWorld.
Information: T.K. really wants to be brave because he doesn't want the others to know he's afraid, and he wants to impress his big broter, Matt. But it's hard sometimes. T.K. is thrilled to be spending so much time with Matt. Their parents are divorced and they don't live together anymore, so T.K. doesn't get to see Matt that often. T.K.'s the youngest member of the group -- an 8-year-old second-grader at Kawada Elementary in real live -- and a real sweet-natured and generous kid. He does what you ask him to but he's a bit of a crybaby. He carries the Hope crest.
